Fabric Shopping in Soho

Yesterday we made an over-delayed trip up to London to finally pin down some possible final fabrics for our graduate collections! Firstly we checked out what Soho had to offer us - below are some pictures from the Cloth Shop (Berwick St.) everything is layed out so beautifully - like walking into a vintage boutique - all the labels are handwritten, the buttons are sold in over-sized jam jars and I found THE most amazing feathered binding - almost as if it was taken straight from a Demueleemester collection! So cool. After checking out Cass Art and picking up a sketchbook and the international magazine corner shop we were straight onto Maculloch and Wallis (literally mobbed by students) and finishing at London's answer to the Aladdin's cave of fabrics - Goldhawk Rd.
I left feeling so inspired but with the realization this is going to be an expensive year!
Below are some snaps from the Cloth Shop, enjoy and TRY and visit!!
(oh and we stumbled upon Lily Allens vintage creation 'Lucy in Disguise' in Soho covered with gold discs which fluttered in the wind! so pretty)
