I don't usually do this so you know it's got to be important..
Goldhawk rd is the main (and cheapest) place to buy high quality, unusual and exciting fabrics and has been for a long time, providing more choice than the expensive fabrics offered by the shops in Soho.
The whole road is full to the brim with fabric shops, however it now faces huge threat for the whole road to be demolished to make way for housing. This would be such a loss particularly to the Fashion and Design community.
